<p>This CMS requires http server (tested only on <a
href="http://httpd.apache.org/" title="The Apache HTTP Server Project"
>Apache</a>) with CGI support and <a href="http://python.org/"
title="Python Programming Language">Python</a> interpreter. I'm not going
to write here how to turn on Python support or URL rewrite engine on http
server (most probably your server already has these features on).</p>
<p>To install the system, you have to put the contents of
<strong>cgi-bin</strong> directory to a directory from which CGI programs can
be run (eg. <strong>cgi-bin</strong>). In the root directory of the website
there must be <strong>.htaccess</strong> file with instructions to redirect
not existing files/directories and empty line to <strong>index.py</strong>
file. Eg., if the system is installed in <strong>cgi-bin</strong>
directory, it would look like this:</p>
<pre>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule .* cgi-bin/index.py [L]
RewriteRule ^$ cgi-bin/index.py [L]
# forbid access to config.xml
RewriteRule cgi-bin/config.xml - [F]
</pre>
<p>There is no limitation where images, CSS and other files should be
held.</p>
