As a special service "Fossies" has tried to format the requested text file into HTML format (style: standard) with prefixed line numbers. Alternatively you can here view or download the uninterpreted source code file. 
    1 The maximum string length is 255 due to the Excel 5 format which is
    2 still used. The long_string.pl example coming with
    3 SpreadSheet::WriteExcel does not work for some reason. It must be
    4 figured out why.

    6 Volker Sauer has reported that sheet names in Excel files generated by
    7 php_writeexcel get prepended with ".xls]" when he renames them, but I
    8 can't reproduce it. If you can, please send me the generated file and
    9 the version number of Excel you are using.
