roundcubemail  1.3.9
About: Roundcube webmail is a browser-based multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface.
Fossies Dox: roundcubemail-1.3.9.tar.gz  ("inofficial" and yet experimental doxygen-generated source code documentation)

Some Fossies usage hints in advance:

  1. To see the Doxygen generated documentation please click on one of the items in the "quick index" bar above or use the side panel at the left which displays a hierarchical tree-like index structure and is adjustable in width.
  2. If you want to search for something by keyword rather than browse for it you can use the client side search facility (using Javascript and DHTML) that provides live searching, i.e. the search results are presented and adapted as you type in the Search input field at the top right.
  3. Doxygen doesn't incorporate all member files but just a definable subset (basically the main project source code files that are written in a supported language). So to search and browse all member files you may visit the Fossies roundcubemail-1.3.9.tar.gz contents page and use the Fossies standard member browsing features (also with source code highlighting and additionally with optional code folding).

Build Status

Roundcube Webmail is a browser-based multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface. It provides full functionality you expect from an email client, including MIME support, address book, folder management, message searching and spell checking. Roundcube Webmail is written in PHP and requires the MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite database. With its plugin API it is easily extendable and the user interface is fully customizable using skins which are pure XHTML and CSS 2.

The code is mainly written in PHP and is designed to run on a webserver. It includes other open-source classes/libraries from PEAR, an IMAP library derived from IlohaMail the TinyMCE rich text editor, Googiespell library for spell checking or the WASHTML sanitizer by Frederic Motte.

The current default skin 'Larry' was kindly created by FLINT / Büro für Gestaltung, Berne, Switzerland.

For detailed instructions on how to install Roundcube webmail on your server, please refer to the INSTALL document in the same directory as this document.

If you're updating an older version of Roundcube please follow the steps described in the UPGRADING file.
