  Fossies Dox: gitea-1.8.1.tar.gz  ("inofficial" and yet experimental doxygen-generated source code documentation)

gitea Documentation

Some Fossies usage hints in advance:

  1. To see the Doxygen generated documentation please click on one of the items in the steel blue colored "quick index" bar above or use the side panel at the left which displays a hierarchical tree-like index structure and is adjustable in width.
  2. If you want to search for something by keyword rather than browse for it you can use the client side search facility (using Javascript and DHTML) that provides live searching, i.e. the search results are presented and adapted as you type in the Search input field at the top right.
  3. Doxygen doesn't incorporate all member files but just a definable subset (basically the main project source code files that are written in a supported language). So to search and browse all member files you may visit the Fossies gitea-1.8.1.tar.gz contents page and use the Fossies standard member browsing features (also with source code highlighting and additionally with optional code folding).

Purpose

The goal of this project is to make the easiest, fastest, and most painless way of setting up a self-hosted Git service. Using Go, this can be done with an independent binary distribution across all platforms which Go supports, including Linux, macOS, and Windows on x86, amd64, ARM and PowerPC architectures. Want to try it before doing anything else? Do it with the online demo! This project has been forked from Gogs since 2016.11 but changed a lot.

Building

From the root of the source tree, run:

TAGS="bindata" make generate all

More info: https://docs.gitea.io/en-us/install-from-source/

Using

./gitea web

NOTE: If you're interested in using our APIs, we have experimental support with documentation.

Contributing

Expected workflow is: Fork -> Patch -> Push -> Pull Request

NOTES:
