cakephp  3-7-6
About: CakePHP is a rapid development framework for PHP applications.
Fossies Dox: cakephp-3-7-6.zip  ("inofficial" and yet experimental doxygen-generated source code documentation)

Some Fossies usage hints in advance:

  1. To see the Doxygen generated documentation please click on one of the items in the "quick index" bar above or use the side panel at the left which displays a hierarchical tree-like index structure and is adjustable in width.
  2. If you want to search for something by keyword rather than browse for it you can use the client side search facility (using Javascript and DHTML) that provides live searching, i.e. the search results are presented and adapted as you type in the Search input field at the top right.
  3. Doxygen doesn't incorporate all member files but just a definable subset (basically the main project source code files that are written in a supported language). So to search and browse all member files you may visit the Fossies cakephp-3-7-6.zip contents page and use the Fossies standard member browsing features (also with source code highlighting and additionally with optional code folding).
CakePHP Application Skeleton

Build Status Total Downloads

A skeleton for creating applications with CakePHP 3.x.

The framework source code can be found here: cakephp/cakephp.

  1. Download Composer or update composer self-update.
  2. Run php composer.phar create-project --prefer-dist cakephp/app [app_name].

If Composer is installed globally, run

composer create-project --prefer-dist cakephp/app

In case you want to use a custom app dir name (e.g. /myapp/):

composer create-project --prefer-dist cakephp/app myapp

You can now either use your machine's webserver to view the default home page, or start up the built-in webserver with:

bin/cake server -p 8765

Then visit http://localhost:8765 to see the welcome page.

Since this skeleton is a starting point for your application and various files would have been modified as per your needs, there isn't a way to provide automated upgrades, so you have to do any updates manually.

Read and edit config/app.php and setup the ‘'Datasources’` and any other configuration relevant for your application.

The app skeleton uses a subset of Foundation (v5) CSS framework by default. You can, however, replace it with any other library or custom styles.
