mmw -report memory usage information

mmw [polls] [interval]

mmw [option]

Description

The mmw command reports back the following information n times (specified by polls) n seconds apart (specified by interval):

total Total user memory available

free Current free user memory

shared

Total shared memory in use

buffer Total buffered memory

cached Total

cached memory

If swap is also being shown

swap Swap Total

sfree Swap

that is free

Options

The mmw command has the following options and args:

-h --human Print data out in human readable format

-i --interval NUMBER Specify

the interval between polls

-p --poll NUMBER Specify the number of polls

-

s --swap Print data about swap

-v prints out the version

-u a mini help facility

Notes

/proc filesystem must be mounted for the mmw command to work.
